Managed Investment Schemes

What is a Managed Investment Scheme?

A Managed Investment Scheme (often in the form of a unit trust) is where people buy an interest (units) to receive the benefits produced by the scheme.

Contributions are pooled for the purposes of the scheme but the members are not involved in its day to day operations.
